Acceptance into the Program means Scholars are also provided with the nurturing and mentorship to succeed and flourish in college and beyond. Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund

Since its inception in 1987, Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) has provided scholarships to qualified students attending its member-schools. TMCF scholarships have provided support to help fund an education at one of our nation’s public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).TMCF provides merit-based scholarships to students seeking financial assistance to complete their education. TMCF scholarship recipients are awarded annually to students meeting the TMCF eligibility criteria. Awards are made each semester and are based on a verification process designed to ensure that academic expectations are being met and that there is an unmet financial need. The standard scholarship that is awarded is $2,200 per semester. Sachs Foundation Scholarships

The Sachs Foundation offers several types of scholarships so more students have an opportunity to apply for a scholarship to help meet their financial needs. The Sachs Foundation usually offers scholarships to 35 new recipients each year and they average in the amount of $5,000 each year, but this can vary depending on the funds that they have available. This is the standard scholarship that is awarded, but depending on your major they have different opportunities available. AmeriGlide Achiever Scholarship

The AmeriGlide Achiever Scholarship is a scholarship we offer to full time college students who use either manual or electric wheelchairs. One applicant will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship award. Their goal is to contribute to the future of a wheelchair user by offering the winning student financial assistance to help cover the expenses of tuition and books. To apply for the Amerglide Achiever Scholarship applicants must submit a 500 word essay in response to the question that they ask. American Architectural Foundation

The American Architectural Foundation offers the Minority/Disadvantaged Scholarships in order to encourage diversity and equity in the architectural profession. These scholarships are open to high school seniors and college freshmen who plan to study architecture at a NAAB-accredited program. The scholarship program was established in 1970 by a grant from the Ford Foundation to aid students who would not otherwise have an opportunity to enter a professional degree program. Twenty awards are made per year and may be renewed for two additional years, ideally maintaining 60 students in the program in any given year. Scholarship amounts range between $500 and $2,500 and are determined by evaluation of financial need information provided by the student and the school.

No matter what the minority classification is or what financial help you may need, there is a scholarship that may be able to offer you free money.
